The Quality Manager is responsible for providing the technical expertise expected of a TS16949 Registered automotive supply chain facility. Specifically, this position will, at a minimum, provide leadership in the following areas: TS16949 Activities, APQP, Process Flow Charts, FMEA's, Control Plans, PPAP, MSA, Corrective Action (7D/8D) Reports. Additionally, the Quality Manager will be accountable for providing supervisory oversight of the Quality Department and activities, including scheduling of labor requirements to support the needs of the organization. The Quality Manager must be a skilled communicator, with the ability and willingness to effectively interact with the customer on a regular basis. Minimum Requirements: 4 year Technical Degree / AAS (or equivalent 5 to 10 years experience manufacturing environment) with solid math, reading, computer and analytical skills. 3 to 5 years supervisory experience and excellent interpersonal skills Advanced knowledge and experience with thermal plastic and engineered resins used in injection molding or advanced knowledge and experience using calibers, various quality gages (i.e. pin, push, pull, thread, etc.) and quality processes. Experience in mold function and modifications required to achieve proper part requirements. Ability to read part blue prints, determine critical part characteristics to assure proper processing and use an assortment of gages typical to part qualification Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office. Ability to address problems and develop solutions in a professionally effective fashion. Strong communication skills, including written and verbal skills. Strong organizational skills must be able to gather organize, organize and present data in a way that can be easily understood by others. Honest and willing to accept responsibility. Ability to apply comparative decision-making skills.
