ROLE DEFINITION: Coordinator of NA Quality Systems & Quality Suite
Responsible for coordination of Mondelez’s Quality Systems and Quality Suite within the NA region with strong connection with the global manufacturing plants and Information Systems.
2. Key Responsibilities
Lead efforts to effectively implement and utilize Quality Systems throughout the North America region. Train personnel and communicate best practices throughout all manufacturing locations. Identifies and initiates new functional capabilities for Quality Systems and Quality Suite. Become expert in Quality Systems and Quality Suite. Develop yearly plans to meet functional strategies to enhance the use of Quality Systems for Mondeléz NA. Support the introduction of new Quality Systems initiatives Contribute to relative documentation and standards for Quality Systems. Oversee and measure the effectiveness of the use of Quality Systems, providing corrective action plans to fill deviations or inefficiencies.
3. Key Performance Indicators
Partner with Global Quality Suite team and 3 rd party integrators to optimize lifecycle processes and new deployment processes. Actively seeks out and assesses internal and external technologies as a means to improve existing &/or develop new capabilities. Develop and maintain knowledge of ProFicient software and Quality Suite. Ability to develop strategic and operational plans to support NA business objectives. The ability to train and develop staff members, especially plant personnel. Fosters an environment of forward thinking and entrepreneurial spirit. Is willing to challenge the status quo appropriately and provide direction for improvement. Is willing to take risks and manage them intellectually. Effectively manages knowledge within RD&Q and promotes cross-functional communication and builds effective relationships. Good written and verbal communication skills. Bachelors in food science/technology and or a related discipline. Minimum of 5+ years’ experience (3+ years of manufacturing related situations) in Quality. Relevant training/work experience in software system, primary ProFicient is a benefit. Proven track record of project management and successful project closeouts. Proven experience in line-management and the ability to lead coach and mentor others. Proven experience of partnering with client/stakeholders Ability to present a clear position and purpose and can stand alone, without jeopardizing relationships Ability to focus self and team on what truly matter most to driving the business. Seeks insights from key internal/external stakeholders and partners. Ability to utilize effective negotiation skills to resolve conflict and gain alignment. Build consensus and effectively impacts outcomes. Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to create the future of Quality Systems by taking advantage of emerging trends with process control and continuous improvement, always focusing and benchmarking externally to stay ahead of competition, and having a growth mindset
