ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Audits products and quality systems to determine compliance with specifications, Sargento's programs and standard operating procedures, compliance with legal requirements, conformance to customer specified standards, and conformance to production work orders.
Accurately performs laboratory tests as determined by Sargento's Quality Assurance plan.
Collects and evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Follows accredited methods and standard operating procedures to perform tests and maintenance and calibrate test equipment.
Collects and evaluates shelf-life samples for integrity throughout the shelf-life of the product.
Performs sanitation monitoring according to regulatory requirements and established standard operating procedures.
Performs administrative functions as necessary.
Trains new employees on essential job functions as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Project work as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Assists with product retrievals/recalls and handles confidential information.
