A growing, privately held manufacturing company in the NE Indianapolis area is seeking an experienced Quality Technician for our fabrication facility. We are a company with an overflow of orders that serves a national client base. We are expanding o ur business, product offerings and clients on a daily basis.
You will need to bring a strong work ethic an d provide solid references. A degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering is preferred, but significant prior OJT experience or recent graduate may be considered. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Quality Support experience in an industrial manufacturing environment , be knowledgeable of process control and enjoy working in a fast-tracked highly focused setting.

Technical Skills
Ability to analyze information relating to production specifications, volume & quality.
Possess an understanding of the manufacturing process and the ability to document processes.
Experienced in the use and certification of Quality Test Equipment.
Knowledge of Document Control Systems and ability to implement/revise, as appropriate.
A n understanding of Industrial Safety concepts highly desirable.
Intermediate level understanding of all Microsoft Office products.

Supervisorial Skills
The ability to train, mentor and coach all employees involved in the manufacturing process.
Able to communicate with all levels of employees to meet company quality goals, objectives, and production targets.
Ensure that all plant work is in compliance with quality standards, schedules, and processes.

Monitor and ensure that equipment, fixtures, chemicals and facilities are used in a safe and responsible manner.

Provide detailed data analysis of product issues, as directed .
Monitor and ensure Quality Test equipment is available to plant personnel.
Maintain “Instrument Certification Master List”, replace nonconforming test equipment.
Maintain “Document Control Master List”, database and file systems.
Assist in the determination of Quality Standards, verifies specifications and in-process condition.
Provides assistance with direction /resolution on disposition of finished products.
Promotes Quality and Continuous Improvement methodology on a daily and consistent basis.
