The Technical Assistant works under the direction of the Lead Technologist of the assigned modality or Site Manager. The Technical Assistant’s primary function is to set up the rooms, assist with the patient flow, and ensure all paperwork is complete, with prior test records and reports before exam, including patient consent forms. The Technical Assistant may provide non-clinical assistance to Technologists and Physicians as needed.
Requires a High school graduate or GED. Graduate of a Healthcare Technology course,
and healthcare experience preferred. Requires e
xceptional customer service skills, excellent mental and visual attention to details, with a high degree of accuracy.
