The Retail Account Management (RAM) Intern processes client requests in an accurate and timely manner while remaining compliant with legal and FINRA guidelines. The Intern is required to be proficient in processing basic work types such as account maintenance, purchases, rosters, and redemptions primarily for Retail and Retirement business units. The specific work types the Intern will be trained on will be up to the discretion of the RAM Group Manager based on business needs. The Intern may also be asked to be flexible to move to different work types based on business needs.
Review paperwork received from clients
Process transactions on client accounts
Perform account maintenance
Place outbound calls to clients to confirm their intentions
Other duties as assigned
Current Junior or Senior status in college with a 3.0 or higher GPA
Previous customer service work experience
Previous work experience multi-tasking, working under tight deadlines and setting priorities
Working (intermediate) knowledge of Excel - ability to create a worksheet that can be used to capture a variety of data and be sorted for multiple trend analysis.
Basic knowledge of other MS Office applications - PowerPoint and Word
Solid communications skills - comfortable interacting and engaging with groups of varying sizes or one on one
Presentations skills - comfortable speaking in front of a group, professional and composed
Strong planning and organization skills
