Must make sure that the receptionist desk is covered at all times.
Answer the telephone following all company guidelines.
Supply information to callers and records complete and accurate messages.
Receive visitors, obtains name and nature of business, and schedules appointments. Directs visitors to the appropriate department or company.
Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with employees and customers in a manner that will foster positive working relationships.
Open mail and distribute to managers and employees. Receive/date stamp incoming invoices and packing slips.
Perform routine clerical duties as assigned.
Assemble daily airborne packets in time for pick up.
Maintain safe work environment by observing safety procedures and the required safety rules and regulations.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to operate switchboard.
Typing of 30 WPM.
10-key by touch.
Outgoing, friendly personality, bilingual helpful.
Good customer relations skills.
QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employee s of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
