POSITION SUMMARY Analyze records for timely and accurate completion using Medicare/Joint Commission/ND State and various other accrediting and licensing bodies. Collects statistical data regarding provider timeliness and accuracy of documentation. Works closely with Incomplete Records Coordinator to assure accurate assignment of provider deficiencies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Licenses and Certifications Required Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience Requirements One year of HIM or medical office experience required. Special Skills or Training Requirements Medical Terminology required. Anatomy and Physiology courses preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively with various departments and physicians.
Individual should have strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills with attention to detail. Must have the ability to work effectively. Computer experience is a must.
