Natural Organics, Inc. a leading Manufacturer and Distributor of Dietary Supplements is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Associate. This position will provide administrative and regulatory affairs support, assist with ensuring compliance of all products, labels and marketing materials with current FDA and FTC regulations for dietary supplements; have knowledge of DSHEA guidelines for dietary supplements; perform review of product labels and labeling for compliance with regulatory requirements; assist with the preparation and submission of documentation necessary for registration and distribution of products in foreign countries (EU, Canada, etc.).

Qualifications / Skills Required
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Biochemistry, Biology or closely related discipline and/or 2-5 years experience in regulatory affairs involving food and/or dietary supplement products, quality assurance, research & development or manufacturing or in a similar highly regulated industry.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a group setting
  • Skilled at working efficiently and completing projects in a timely fashion and meet deadlines
  • Capability to critique, analyze and summarize research articles and publications
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Familiar with and competence in conducting literature searches using established databases such as PubMed
  • Familiar with or knowledge in dietary supplement/functional foods regulations/regulatory affairs (DSHEA, FDA, FTC, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, writing and editing skills
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, database management software)
