Identify and evaluate potential corporate and foundation donors for various School-based programs and University-wide initiatives in need of funding. Prepare prospect lists, in-depth profiles and briefings for development staff and senior members of University administration. Analyze information on prospects and donors using a variety of online resources and forward results to development staff and senior members of University administration to use for the creation of targeted cultivation and fundraising strategies.

Qualifications/Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Education:

Required Experience:
1-2 years' experience identifying corporate and/or foundation prospects using Foundation Center's online database, Foundation Directory Online. Prior development or fundraising experience is necessary.

Preferred Experience:
Related experience at a large, urban university.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Strong analytical, written and verbal communications skills. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software including experience with online databases.
