The primary responsibility of the Research Data Coordinator will be to utilization organizational and communication skills to manage the clinical and survey data collection operations of a 26 site clinical trial to ensure the proper implementation and coordination of all research data.

The RDC will also use an understanding of IRB process and NIH Good Clinical Practice guide, along with a high attention to detail, in order to monitor that adherence to established study protocol and standard operating procedures.

The RDC will also utilize critical thinking skills and employ well-honed communication skills while serving as study liaison with the Data Coordinating Center at UCSF.

In addition to these responsibilities, the RDC will also participate in monitoring study progress, with an eye toward recruitment goals and participant retention, as well as developing, implementing and interpreting recruitment and retention monitoring tools.

The RDC will also participate in supervising data analysis conducted by research interns, and conduct quantity and data analysis in other ongoing research projects.

Must also bilingual, speaking and understanding Spanish and English fluently.

Required Skills

BA/BS required, Master's degree is preferred. Basic equipment operation and project management skills required.

Intermediate analytical, clerical, and computer/technical skills required. Advanced oral communication and written communications skills are a must. 1-3 years of experience required.
