Additionally, the incumbent will assist with needed procurement Information Technology {IT} and Level I Competency approvals, as required, and fill out and submit needed approval forms. The work also consists of assisting the technical team in obtaining DD1149 (the Requisition and Invoice/Shipping Document) forms, as applicable. Because the Incumbent must manage the submission of procurement documents to the 2.0 Contracts Competency, some knowledge of their preferred document formats is desired.

Knowledge
  • Acting as the primary Point of Contact with the 2.0 Contracts Competency;
  • Providing weekly procurement status and equipment Estimated Time of Arrivals (ETAs) to the technical team for proper project planning;
  • Performing and documenting Market and Vendor Research by using tools including Google, the Electronic Document Access (EDA) data base, and the System for Award Management (SAM) to investigate;
  • Assisting the technical team with their procurement needs and prompting them to initiate requests when required;
  • Perform duties as a Government Purchase Card Holder; responsible for ensuring that all buys are made in accordance with applicable rules and regulations, purchases are screened for availability from a mandatory source, timely reconciliation and provide Approving Official (AO) with a complete/accurate transaction package.
  • Perform duties as the WSCI Organization Property Accountant/Custodian to include the DLA disposal process, bar-coding equipment, transfer of equipment, track equipment leaving China Lake and insure the equipment is returned by the required documented time.

Experience
This Mid-Level position requires at least four years of experience working.

Education
A Bachelor’s Degree from and accredited educational institution is required

CLEARANCE: Able to acquire DoD Secret Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
