Provides prompt and professional service to our guests while serving food and cocktails in a Restaurant venue. Insures guests receive Viejas Guest Service Standards throughout their meal.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Communicates with guests with a smile, demonstrates confidence, and encourages all guests to feel unique and special. Ensures guests are completely satisfied with their service.
Takes orders from guests, writes orders down on server pad, and enters into the Point of Sales (POS) system within the prescribed time limits according to training guidelines.
Garnishes and completes dishes prior to serving.
Delivers completed items from kitchen to guests on trays weighing.
Checks back with guests to ensure their complete satisfaction with the service provided. Refills drinks, as necessary, and clears any unneeded items out of the guest's way (pre-busing).
Supports other team members by being aware of guest's needs outside of their own assigned area. Alerts other team members when these guests would like to order alcohol food items or wants their check
Practices alcohol consumption awareness. Verifies age drinking limit and recognizes when guests have reached their drinking limit and refuses to provide additional alcoholic beverages. If needed, escalates the situation and issues/complaints to manager.
Exercises good judgment when handling escalated guest issues and complaints.
Adheres to all Policies and Procedures as mandated specifically to Food and Beverage.
Understands and practices good safety and sanitation procedures.
Practices Viejas Guest Service Standards while performing all job duties and responsibilities.
Performs other related and compatible duties as assigned.
