DESCRIPTION

The Retail Sales Associate will provide production and sales support to meet the business objectives of the retail market.

DUTIES

Specific Responsibilities of the Retail Sales Clerk may include, but are not limited to the following items below. She/he will:

1. Stock shelves, counters, and tables with merchandise.

2. Manufacture, assemble, package, and rotate products.

3. Obtain merchandise requested by customers

4. Utilize the best customer service and sales skills.

5. Answer phones, take orders, accept payments and make change, gift-wrap and/or bag merchandise for customers.

6. Keep the market clean and orderly.

7. Be part of a culture that emphasizes energy, creativity, teamwork, outcomes, and fun.

IIIGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the Specific Responsibilities outlined above, General Responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Communication
The General Responsibilities of this position include the ability to communicate and interact with the public, co-workers, other departments, supervisor, consultants and clients and their family members.

2. Physical Tasks
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1) Without assistance, employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

2) While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to walk, crawl, sit, stand, stoop, bend, squat, push and pull, have full physical dexterity and agility, and have eye/hand coordination.

3. General Tasks and Abilities
This position requires the employee to have an understanding of and the ability to do the following:

1) Read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
2) Write routine reports and correspondence.
3) Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
4) Compute percentages, rates and ratios.
5) Comprehend, retain and follow oral and written instructions, exercise good judgment and listen.
5) Have an overall knowledge of business practices.
6) Perform excellent presentations.
7) Have strong interpersonal, leadership, and team skills with the ability to motivate and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
8) Have strong organizational skills.
9) Be highly motivated and results-oriented.

5. The Retail Sales Clerk shall assume all other responsibilities as requested by the Retail Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma/GED & valid driver's license and auto insurance Specific Responsibilities of the Retail Sales Clerk may include, but are not limited to the following items below. She/he will:
