21st Century Oncology is a leading developer and operator of radiation therapy centers, medical oncology, and multi-specialty practices throughout the US. Our centers, which are freestanding and hospital based, provide a full spectrum of radiation therapy services and medical oncology treatment to cancer patients, and multi specialty care to patients in the areas of Urology, Gynecology and medical specialties. We are growing and need highly qualified candidates to join our team.We are searching for a Revenue Manager to oversee the charge capture process for a multi-site region. The Revenue Manager is responsible for working with the Regional Administrators, Medical Coders and Financial Counselors in select locations (regions) to successfully carry out the Financial Manager functions. The Revenue Manager will monitor key production metrics, provide training and tools and assist with developing effective treatment center process flows.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to travel more than 50% of time Two or more years experience in Radiation Oncology medical oncology, surgical oncology and/or urology preferred ROCC certification required within one year of hire date Experience in medical office staff management and/or training preferred Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel and medical management software Ability to work with employees from various backgrounds and obtain consensus Problem solver who is detail oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills Self starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and think outside the box EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: College graduate, degree in Health Care Management, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Certified professional medical coder or equivalent with 3 or more years experience required CONFIDENTIAL AND SENSITIVE INFORMATION: Must properly control the release of proprietary and confidential information LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must be able to fluently speak, write and understand English Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to use interpersonal skills to develop rapport with Physics, Physicians and staff Must be cordial, professional, tactful, and not challenging, to create an atmosphere of respect, and to encourage open discussion/conversation to build trust If interested, feel free to visit the Careers section of to view job description, and to fill out an application.
