The Georgia Department of
Human Services, Division
of Family and Children Services (DFCS) is seeking candidates for
our Revenue Maximization Supervisor position in College
Park (South Fulton Service Center/Stonewall Tell Road).

The Division of Family
and Children Services (DFCS) is the part of DHS that investigates
child abuse; finds foster homes for abused and neglected children;
helps low income, out-of-work parents get back on their feet; assists
with childcare costs for low income parents who are working or in
job training; and provides numerous support services and innovative
programs to help troubled families.

Under limited supervision, our Revenue Maximization Supervisor will
monitor and direct professional staff in developing their skills,
delivering quality services, and documenting efforts. Supervisors
work closely with county staff and participate within a regional team
to assure appropriate State/Federal financial resources are available
for children in State custody.
The Revenue Maximization Supervisor’s
duties include, but are not limited to, managing, monitoring and
evaluating the activities of Revenue Maximization Specialists (RMS).
RMS determines federal Title IV-E Foster Care and Adoption Assistance
funding and Medicaid eligibility for foster and adopted children
statewide. Revenue Maximization staff work in both SHINES and SUCCESS
data systems.

Qualifications

A combination of Foster care/adoptions -and- Economic Support
case management experience is required.

Our candidate will have a
Bachelors degree and two years experience managing foster care/adoptions
AND economic support
case management for a government program

Experience does not substitute for degree requirements

Candidates invited to interview must be prepared to demonstrate competencies

in the following areas:
Foster Care/Adoptions case management experience

Experiences with Medicaid/Food Stamp Programs

Leadership training

Communications skills (demeanor, speech, written, etc)

salary of up to $44,000 we offer a generous benefits

This is a PL-14 position. Current state government employees are subject
to DHS rules/practices regarding salary.
