This document control engineer or specialist will work in the product development team. The candidate will be responsible for document control and the standardization of drawings. This will involve maintenance of the document control system and working with the engineering teams to define best working practices, with quality engineers to ensure compliance with TS standards and other quality department initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting associated with new product design
  • Generation and standardization of device assembly drawings
  • Document revision control
  • Maintenance of drawing document management tool
  • Definition and submission of PQI documentation
  • NPI inventory control
  • NPI process development and monitoring
  • Participation in design reviews
  • Interface with R+D and operations teams

The qualified candidate will hold and engineering degree or equivalent work experience and should have a strong background in the following areas:
  • Document management and control
  • Drafting skills using AutoCAD
  • Process documentation
  • Mechanical specifications
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a high level of personal drive and energy
  • Organization skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities to meet goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work in a team environment

The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in drafting / document control in a semiconductor oriented organization. In addition this candidate will also possess skills in the following areas
  • BSME or equivalent education
  • Experienced user of AutoCAD and ProE drafting tools
  • Knowledge of quality standards such as TS and ISO
