Utilizes knowledge of the physical and behavioral signs and symptoms of chemical dependency while facilitating all dimensions of the recovery process—spiritual, cultural, Biomedical and psychological. Provides professional nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, individualized treatment planning, implementation of appropriate interventions, and ongoing reassessment according to the criteria established by the American Society of Addictive Medicine. Maintains treatment activities of the department in compliance with sound clinical practice, department and hospital policies and procedures, and regulatory standards: JCAHO, IDPH and DASA.
- Registered Nurse with current license in State of Illinois. Current CPR certification.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing. B.S.N. degree preferred.
- Two years’ experience in chemical dependency and/ or a combination of chemical dependency and mental health preferred.
- C.A.D.C. preferred.
- Must be CPI certified.
