Job Description:

Completion of an accredited associate, baccalaureate or master’s degree program in Nursing. Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota. CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers required.

Knowledge of current nursing practices and techniques. Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing. Ability to effectively participate on an interdisciplinary treatment team. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, family member and co-workers.

Additional Information:

Cardiac Medicine Unit:

Patient Population Patients with chest pain, coronary artery disease, COPD, pneumonia and other cardio-respiratory problems along with End Stage Renal Disease. This is a department with a lot of admissions and discharges daily.

Technology The remote telemetry cockpit resides on this unit, as well as the CLIU, where patients are recovered and sheaths pulled post coronary angiogram procedures. Telemetry alarms will be connected to Vocera on this new unit. Telemetry monitoring equipment will be new with the ability to monitor a patient’s heart rhythm while they are off the unit for tests and procedures.

RN's applying for this position must have at least one year of hospital RN experience or 2 years of TCU RN experience.
