The Registered Professional Nurse Ambulatory Care is accountable for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process. The RN assesses, plans, delivers, coordinates, integrates, and evaluates nursing care related to patient needs. The RN contributes to the support of patients through interdisciplinary teamwork.The RN III and IV assures that the care provided is consistent with applicable standards, regulations, statutes and state and federal law, and provides leadership to department staff, serving as a resource and mentor. These RNs contribute to the body of professional nursing practice through participation in research, committee work, and professional organizations, internal and external.
- Graduation from an accredited Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma Professional Nursing program is required
- Current NYS license as an RN or valid interim permit is required
