The RN Documentation Specialist will dedicate at least three days a week to the DRG Assurance Program. The Documentation Specialist will review all new patients within 24 hours of admission, assign appropriate DRG's, complete DRG worksheets, and follow-up on DRG queries. He/she will work collaboratively with the utilization coordinators, coders, manager, director and physician advisor to address system issues related to documentation.
Graduate from accredited school of nursing
Current AZ RN license required
