Provides leadership to promote excellence in cardiac patient care for the Chest Pain Center of the Emergency Department. This position assists in the planning, development and implementation of program goals and operations, including Chest Pain Center Accredidation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers. Coordinates and oversees the ongoing CQI process to improve care of the cardiac patient. Develops and leads comprehensive plan toward obtaingin Stroke Center Accreditation.
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing; current RN license issued by the Ky Board of Nursing; Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA; Prior experience in acute care, either through work or clinical rotation; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
Lourdes Emergency Room (ER) is an eighteen-bed facility, providing emergency care twenty-four hours per day, seven day per week. The ER delivers specialized care for a broad range of presentations from non-emergent to critical care and trauma, and for all age groups from infant to geriatric.
