The Registered Nurse Manager I (RN Clinician B) is responsible for supervision and coordinating the organized nursing services and the environment in which clinical nursing is practiced. Assist to ensure the implementation, maintenance and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent with regulatory standards, the philosophy and objectives of ESH Department of Nursing and the organization's mission, goals and objectives.
Shift - Rotating
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Previous professional nursing experience in mental health, medical, adult and geropsychiatric setting; experience in leadership or management preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of biopsychosocial and spiritual needs of the adult and geropsychiatric patient; good clinical knowledge and skill to assess and develop patient care plans; demonstrated ability to coordinate, delegate, communicate and problem solve; ability to supervise and evaluate both patient care and staff performance; ability to instruct and train patients and staff; complete and maintain current in TOVA and CPR. Must be computer literate, including email experience, and able to accurately utilize electronic health records for data entry and retrieval.
Special Requirements
Offers of employment are contingent upon passing the background check (Virginia State Police and FBI) and the drug screen test.
