Responsible for cardiopulmonary rehab programming. Duties include assessment and treatment of cardiopulmonary patients, from post event to recovery, including exercise programming and risk factor modification. The Nurse will assist the Coordinator in developing and monitoring Quality Management activities. Follows and completes all other appropriate duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
RN must have current license in the state of North Dakota.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
RN's should have two year's experience in a critical or acute coronary care unit. One year of experience in Cardiac Rehab Phases I-III is preferred.
Special Skills or Training Requirements
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required. Strong background in EKG rhythm interpretation and strong patient evaluation skills required.
