Provides appropriate nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on the unit. Identifies problems and uses critical thinking skills to develop solutions. Creates a working climate that provides growth and job satisfaction of personnel. Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders. Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN license in the state of Kentucky or compact license required. BLS certification required.
The Float Pool is a designated group of associates who float throughout all nursing departments. Associates in this department must be very versatile and flexible. Associates may be assigned in various departments through the shift.
