Serves food, beverages, and supplies to banquet guests; sets up and cleans rooms for banquets, meetings and other special events; greets guests and does side work related to banquet department operations.

Sets up rooms for banquets, meetings and other special events, including (but not limited to) placing tables, linens, table-top equipment and decorations.
When appropriate, raise revenue through “upselling” or “suggestive selling” of appetizers, desserts, wines, dinner specials, and beverages.
Serve food, beverages and supplies to banquet guests.
Report to management all inconsistencies in food and beverage preparation and presentation.
Clear function rooms of equipment, linens, tables and other materials and clean function rooms.
Assist other banquet, restaurant, room service and bar staff as needed.
Clean work areas and equipment as assigned in side work duties.
Report to management all comments from customers and prospective customers that affect the company's image or services.
Keep accurate records of certain banquet transactions, such as wine sales.
When there is an accident or spill, clean it up immediately and warn other Team Members or guests if necessary.
Respond helpfully to guests special requests.
Complete banquet set-ups and tear-downs as assigned each shift.
High School Diploma or GED Certification preferred .
Must be able to read and write legibly in English language.
Able to use all restaurant, banquet and meeting equipment.
High degree of organization skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments, and meet deadlines.
Must have flexible schedule and be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Able to follow instructions.
Has worked in a restaurant, bar or banquet facility.
Knowledgeable on the company's safety, security and health policies as they apply to restaurant and banquet operations.
