Job Purpose/ Key Responsibilities Responsible for short-term energy purchases, sales and management of physical assets (i.e. generation, load and transmission)
  • Analyze market conditions and monitor transactions to help identify short-term/term market opportunities
  • Schedule energy in PJM, MISO, CAISO, NEISO, ERCOT, NYISO & IESO
  • Must adhere to risk management guidelines and be familiar with industry regulatory standards & practices.
Required Skills
  • Team player willing to work shift under general supervision

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • System operator certification preferred

Required Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in power industry or related field
  • Knowledge of energy trading markets and trading practices
