All installations are designed for site-specific applications in order to meet the tailor-made design requirements of each client.
Responsible for logging in and out using bar code system daily.
To unload incoming material via freight lines, delivery services and vendors.
To verify those incoming materials against the freight bills, noting any shortages, damages, etc on the bill before signing.
To verify incoming material against the packing list and purchase order to make sure we are receiving the correct merchandise and quantities that were ordered.
To make supervisor aware of any discrepancies or damages so that he can follow up with the freight lines and vendors.
To note on the pink copy of the purchase order the quantities received, making note of any differences from what the purchase order has or if the shipment is a partial. If the purchase order is complete as ordered, that should be written on the purchase order and date received. The pink copy of the purchase order along with the packing list should be stapled together and turned into data entry.
Responsible for writing quantities received for partial shipments on the pink copy of the purchase order and making a copy of the purchase order; then, attaching the packing list and freight bill to the copy of the purchase order and filing the pink purchase order back into the file until back orders are complete.
Responsible for helping in raw materials and finished inventory when time permits.
Responsible for familiarizing himself with the part numbers so that wrong part numbers listed are corrected before the paperwork is complete.
Responsible for keeping department neat and orderly.
Responsible for cycle counts.
Knowledge of forklift use.
At least 1 year working in a plant environment in the shipping/receiving/inventory area.
- Ability to stand for a regularly scheduled work day.
Able to bend, squat, lift, push and/or pull approximately 50 lbs. as required.
Vision must be correctable to 20/20.
Ability to work in non climate controlled environment.
