Representing the Career Management Center (CMC), the Coordinator ensures the highest quality of customer service to MBA students and represents initial point of contact for students, employers, alumni, consultants, senior faculty and staff. Works closely with students, recruiters, consultants & instructors, and the entire Career Management staff, fulfilling administrative duties and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the Career Management Center. The Coordinator manages a variety of projects as needed. Responsibilities: 1. Coordinates Reception Area; Greets all visitors to Career Management; keeps informed in advance of recruiting events, appointments and meetings in order to provide appropriate greeting and direction and assists with the orientation of new recruiters. Coordinates busy CMC corporate client and visitor calendar. 2. Responds to phone, email and walk-in inquires from students, recruiters, alumni and external companies; provides the highest level of customer service in directing busy office traffic. Manages mail distribution for entire CMC on a daily basis and effectively manages students with walk-in questions or concerns. 3. Organizes room reservations and offers administrative support for robust schedules related to CMC programming and other high level career management events for MBA students; represents CMC within the School and works with the Dean's Office room scheduler staff. 4. Oversees, generates and edits weekly Career Bytes Newsletter, the main weekly contact newsletter from the CMC to the full-time MBA students. 5. Monitors inventory and operational upkeep for Recruiters Lounge, interview rooms and offices; coordinates maintenance of CMC areas for seasonal recruiting and corporate meetings. Communicate needs to Directors, Employer Relations and CEA, and Operations as needed. 6. Oversees accounting for Career Fellow (2nd year students hired by CMC) payroll including manual entry of timesheet hours; works closely with Assoc. Director overseeing Career Fellow program on various administrative needs 7. Responsible for coordinating and communicating to students and other relevant populations the office hours and schedules of professional staff, communicates with students regarding registration for programs, assist officers in tracking student attendance and participation, drafting and sending reminders, communicating status updates. 8. Provide arrangements for programs and business meetings involving internal and external constituents, including materials, food, name plates, nametags, etc. Performs duplication of materials. Responsible for ensuring those materials are delivered and/or received in an efficient and timely manner. 9. Performs related work as directed.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

High School diploma or its equivalent required. Minimum 3 years related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. College degree strongly preferred.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills required. Must have strong customer service focus with demonstrated experience in this area. Must have a demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse groups in a highly professional manner. Must be able to work with changing priorities in a busy environment. Ability to work as part of a team necessary, as well as the ability to work with minimal direction. Must exercise sound judgment. MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel required. Overtime may be required during peak periods, including early mornings (7:30am), late evenings and select weekends with advance notice.
