Under general supervision, receives and routes incoming calls and performs routine office support functions. The primary focus and responsibilty of this position is the daily operation of the front desk/reception area. Secondary focus and responsibilies extend to assist and provide support in functional areas of the Operations Division.

  • Responsible for answering multi-line telephone system and appropriately routing incoming calls
  • Responsible for referring non-routine requests from club members, club owners, vendors, etc. for information to appropriate personnel
  • Responsible for greeting and directing visitors to their proper destination. Keeping up with visitor logs and checking badges in and out
  • Responsible for receiving and distributing facsimiles
  • Assist in working MS Tasks from Member Services
  • Must type 40 WPM
  • Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system and other standard office equipment
  • Ability to handle a high volume of telephone calls with courtesy, speed, and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationship with ABC Financial Services, Inc. personnel
  • Ability to communicate with the public in a courteous and professional manner by telephone and in person
  • Ability to make independent decisions and understand and carry out written and oral instruction in a timely manner
  • Must have experience using Internet Explorer and Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher
  • Must practice correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Must be detailed and multi-task oriented
  • Must maintain professional appearance and attitude

Education and/or experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least six months experience performing receptionist and/or general clerical duties
