D.A. Davidson & Co., a leading investment bank with operations primarily in the Western and Central U.S., is accepting applicants for a receptionist in its Costa Mesa, CA branch office in Orange County. The function of this position is to perform receptionist duties to ensure a positive corporate image to clients and visitors as well as provide administrative support to maintain efficiency of the office.

Qualifications: (Including specific Education and License requirements)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication

  • Organized and detail oriented

  • Punctual and reliable

  • Flexible but effective time manager who is able to prioritize responsibilities, manage several simultaneous projects from inception to completion

  • Good judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information

  • Unquestionable integrity and an excellent representative of the firm on both a personal and professional basis

  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Windows and CRM

  • Provide administrative support to executives and deal teams including phones, travel (domestic and international), expenses, managing calendars and scheduling

  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to appropriate persons using the company phone system

  • Assist in maintaining completeness and accuracy of documents and files for the office

  • Order office supplies

  • Distribute mail

  • Keep the employee kitchen clean and organized

  • Manage conference room calendars

  • Setup for client meetings and order food when necessary

  • Greet guests in a professional manner and issue parking validation

  • Sign for and process deliveries from UPS and Federal Express

  • Perform additional duties as needed
