The Receptionist will greet clients who visit the Roanoke Benefits office, answers the phone, process incoming and outgoing mail.
This position is also responsible for communicationing with internal and external customers timely by email or by wrttten correspondence.
Applicants must possess the ability to communicate effectively with the public, state officials and co-workers.
Ability to handle multiple assignments.
Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and punctuation a must.
Experience with office equipment and processing data entry.
High school graduate or equivalent level of training and experience above.
Knowledge of the Department of Veterans Services mission and programs.
