JOB SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, the incumbent is the initial key contact for GeoEye, Inc. and is responsible for handling the front office area and the internal and external communications in a professional, efficient and organized fashion. Candidate must be flexible and have a pleasant phone personality and professional demeanor in this front office position.

Answers and directs all incoming calls to appropriate party promptly and efficiently. Maintains pertinent telephone records.
Meets and greets clients, job applicants and other visitors, issues appropriate badge and/or key fob. Provides direction to the proper party or department as needed. Verify proper identification, issues badges, and ensures the accurate completion of reports, visitor logs, and other security procedures are met.
Creates new employee/contractor badges and maintains C-cure database. Assigns and tracks all visitor and temporary badges. Maintains accurate badge and key fob distribution records.
Interacts with property management when building issues arise; enters and tracks requests via on-line Building Engines ticket system.
Assist facilities assistant with shipping/receiving duties and executive assistants during meetings and special events.
Maintains evacuation plan roll call lists, distrubuting to assigned fire marshals.
Serves as a resource for emergency responders
Interacts with corporate travel agency and manager when making travel arrangements and creating travel authorization forms.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a corporate office environment is required.
Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and especially MS Outlook.

Familiar with concepts, practices and procedures within field. Interact with internal and external employees, guests and visitors at all levels.
Security clearance desired. Applicant must be able to obtain security clearance.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
