Receives phone calls through the switchboard and ensures that all calls are handled in a courteous and efficient manner.
Acts as the customer resource regarding structure and operations of the company. assures calls are routed to the appropriate individual.
Maintains and organized and prestable reception area.
Performs additional clerical support duties such as typing or formatting data utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel) receives deliveries.
Requires a high school diploma, GED or equivalent. In addition to the education outlined at least one year experience working in a reception capacity and operating a telephone console, handling a number of incoming calls on a daily basis. excellent customer service skills a must when directing visitors and answering incoming calls.
Other skills: self motivated with excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills. Requires a high level of professionalism and appreciation for the confidentiality and sensitivity of information received and handled through performing reception duties.
