Job Summary: Primary responsibility is to present a professional, positive, and friendly image of the company by answering the phone efficiently and greeting visitors appropriately. Provides routine administrative tasks that do not require much time away from the phone or front desk. Undertakes administrative and project based tasks at direction of Human Resources Manager. Work requires broad and comprehensive experience, skills and a thorough knowledge of organization policies and practices.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities 
answer telephone, screen and direct calls 
take and relay messages 
provide information to callers 
greet persons entering organization 
maintain log of visitors 
direct persons to correct destination 
deal with queries from the public and customers 
ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization 
general administrative and clerical support 
prepare letters and documents 
receive and sort mail and deliveries 
schedule appointments for conference rooms 
order office supplies 
order flowers 
maintain timecards for temporary employees 
tidy and maintain the reception area


Education and Experience 
high school diploma , plus one year of college 
knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures 
knowledge of computers and relevant software applications 
knowledge of customer service principles and practices 
keyboard skills 
knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
