This position will perform a variety of receptionist office clerical and related duties both within and in support of Southcoast Physicians Group. Some duties and responsibilities include answering and screening phone calls, relaying messages, receive/sort/distribute office mail, process patient referrals, greet and receive patients and visitors, perform a variety of billing and bookkeeping functions, handle and resolve routine questions, order various non-medical supplies, and ensure consistent patient privacy and confidentiality.

High school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized courses or training. Knowledge of medical terminology and minimum of 2 years related experience is required. Previous medical office experience preferred. Good computer skills required. Experience using medical health record highly desired.
