The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting customers on the phone and in person in a calm, friendly and professional manner. Position will transfer to or request lobby assistance from the appropriate company personnel. Position will transfer a high volume of customer calls, greet customers in the lobby, restock beverages and candy supplies each morning, make sure courier bags to our regional offices are mailed out and picked up in a timely manner, assist in keeping the lobby orderly and professional looking, when call volume permits position will assist with volunteer projects that provide great internal customer service to other staff members and departments.
Candidates must have a very positive customer services attitude, and friendly professional demeanor. Excellent verbal communication skills in English, phone and teamwork skill required. Solid computer skills with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel; must be able to work in a fast paced environment, even with difficult customers. Prefer a candidate that has experience handling a busy switchboard with calls transferred to multiple departments. Experience in health insurance industry or medical office is preferred. Bilingual Spanish is a plus! Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
