The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Records Analyst for our Legal Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
Primary Purpose of Job: Specialized clerical work for junior paralegal in centralized records room. Classifying, sorting, indexing, filing, scanning, storing and retrieving large volumes of corporate documents including contracts, investments, financings, litigation, administrative files and other records. Responds to requests, answers questions, ensures conformance with policy/procedures, instructs personnel on proper file preparation and transfer. Maintains Accutrac Records Management indexing system for paper and electronic records. Complete work with limited assistance and supervision thoroughly and accurately. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround, streamline work process and work cooperatively and jointly with team to provide quality seamless customer service. Back up and support the Corporate Records Director with various other projects including accessioning, disposition, and research and tracking items subject to legal hold. Orders and maintains inventory of supplies used by Department. Is highly organized, displays professionalism, quality service and a "can do" attitude to team members as well as external clients. Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.
- Excellent computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office preferred; other computer experience in Accutrac and Lexis-Nexis, AOL, MS Access, Excel, Salesforce.com, Sharepoint, and other Windows based software packages helpful.
- Able to use other database and spreadsheet software for document tracking
- Good time management skills and multitasking ability.
- Interest in regulated communications industry or corporate law helpful, but not required.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be a team player and possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to work well independently, as well as with others, and possess a willingness to learn.
Ability to read and interpret various types of contract and other documents.
Ability to correspond effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
