What We’re Looking For
A recruiter at 2U, Inc. is critical in identifying and hiring top talent to join our team. We are currently seeking a recruiter with high volume recruiting expertise in operations, marketing, technology development, sales and customer service positions.

Key Responsibilities for this Position Include:
  • Staffing and Recruitment – proactively source, screen, interview, and place qualified candidates. This includes posting jobs, pre-screening resumes, interviewing candidates both on the phone and in person, and partnering with hiring managers throughout the selection process
  • Directly source and recruit candidates through direct recruiting efforts - especially with specialized and skilled job positions
  • Organized and effective management and use of online applicant tracking system
  • Creatively attract top talent in a timely and cost effective manner using multiple sources to advertise and recruit
  • Identify/clarify hiring specifications, ensure accurate and detailed job descriptions, and develop action plans to maximize candidate sourcing
  • Compose, monitor and maintain job postings on various job boards
  • With management approval, create, generate and make job offers and assist with on-boarding process
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruiting process
  • Develop networking and referral base using social networking and other innovate methods to identify desired candidates
  • Coordinate and manage job fairs, recruiting fairs, and other events
  • Other projects/duties as assigned
Things That Should Be in Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Human Resources or Business related field preferred
  • 1 – 2 years experience in staffing, recruiting or career placement. Previous experience in a high-volume staffing setting a plus. Focus in the education/university industry recruiting sales and customer service roles preferred
  • Knowledge of basic employment law relative to hiring and interviewing preferred
  • Previous experience using an applicant tracking system preferred
  • Technical recruiting experience preferred
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
