Working out of our beautiful corporate offices in Oak Brook, Illinois, the Recruiter we hire will work 20 hours per week (4 hours each day, Monday through Friday). The Recruiter will be responsible for the entire recruiting life cycle, from intake meeting and strategy, sourcing (including passive candidates), qualifying, interviewing and closing both internal and external candidates for assigned professional positions. Responsibilities include:
Demonstrate an understanding of the business and become a preferred talent acquisition resource for internal hiring managers
Set sourcing strategy and execute in a timely fashion. Focus on creative and innovative passive candidate sourcing. Perform sourcing duties for other team members’ searches as directed. Source and build a pipeline of passive candidates for various unique or hard to fill positions as directed.
Create and maintain strong relationships and service orientation with internal clients. Measure effectiveness.
Facilitate and lead feedback sessions after candidates have been interviewed.
Maintain candidate and requisition records in a fully compliant manner within the Applicant Tracking system. Help with special projects as assigned.
Maintain and report out on recruiting metrics.
Schedule interviews and make travel arrangements for candidates.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred, Associate’s degree required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting, including experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other passive sourcing methodologies.
AIRS certification a plus.
Will consider corporate or agency recruiting experience.
Manufacturing industry experience a plus.
Must be result and customer oriented with multi-tasking capabilities; excellent time management skills imperative. Must possess strong sense of urgency.
Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to creatively source candidates by using networking and cold calling as well as database mining.
Proven track record in search execution in a team-based environment.
Demonstrated ability to be widely trusted, direct, truthful and worthy of respect, with a passion for quality.
