Responsible for providing high quality, full lifecycle recruiting services to Ilitch Holdings Inc. (IHI) leaders. Utilizes a blend of cutting - edge recruiting techniques to identify, attract and secure quality professional level candidates to drive the company’s strategic plan and advance the brand across numerous markets and professional communities. Guide hiring managers and candidates through the selection process. Builds and maintains excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, recruiting sources and community at large to accomplish hiring strategies. Act in an internal consulting role to ensure job descriptions accurately represent department or business unit needs.

Essential Job Functions:
Plan and execute the selection process to achieve the hiring goals outlined in the strategic plan including developing sources for qualified candidates, selection processes, testing or assessments and appropriate reference and background checks.

Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source top talent.

Plans and directs activities to develop sources of qualified applicants, screen applicants, schedule and conduct interviews, administer tests, check references and background, and evaluate applicant qualifications.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with IHI leaders, community organizations, professional organizations and colleagues to create a partnership that yields success and builds credibility.

Research and utilize a wide variety of tools such as job board postings, database mining, search engines, referrals, networking sites, lead generation tactics, etc. to fill open positions and to develop a pool of quality, diverse talent. Maintains regular contact with quality talent prospects.

Coordinate selection process, including all travel arrangements, for qualified candidates with others in the organization.

Required Skills

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Business Human Resources or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

Minimum of four years experience in a corporate recruiting role that included full life-cycle that includes job descriptions, staffing requisitions, sourcing, networking, compensation, relationship management and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate internal and external networking relationships.

Evidence of success in a variety of recruiting initiatives including cold-call sourcing, internet recruiting, job fairs, college/alumni networking, professional organizations, etc.

Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and project management skills.

The ability to multitask and prioritize with strong attention to detail.

Working knowledge of local, state and federal labor/EEO laws.

Demonstrated computer proficiency (Internet, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, etc.)
