Description – Overview Summary

The primary purpose of the position is to identify, assess and develop external and internal candidate pools for MDACC vacancies utilizing various sourcing strategies and techniques. Primarily focused on managing the candidate side of the recruitment process ensuring that there are suitably qualified candidates available to interview in a timely manner.

Job Description-Requirements Partners with Client Recruiters to understand position requirements so that sourcing efforts and criteria are directed to development of candidates with the right skill mix necessary for the position. Identifies creative solutions for sourcing/screening and ensures an adequate candidate pool is presented.

Proactively searches, reviews and telephone screens qualified active and passive candidates to identify prospects. Identifies and employs new resources applicable to healthcare and other relevant industries to meet institutional needs.

Develops qualified applicant pools by managing format and content of postings to create interest in positions and generate candidate pools. Solicit candidates through associations and/or conferences to yield additional interest for current or future positions.

Presents qualified applicants based upon position information and Client Recruiter agreements. Proactively alerts Client Recruiters and managers of problem searches and candidate feedback. Shares market conditions learned from candidates and other sources with recruitment staff and COEs.

Cultivates relationships with candidates and provides continual feedback to ensure an understanding of the recruitment process. Including updating candidate information, status and other required information into ATS per required timelines.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. Related professional experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.

Master's degree in Human Resources or related field, Human Resources certification (PHR or SPHR).

Three years of professional Human Resource experience in a fast pace, large complex organization utilizing an on-line applicant tracking system.

Demonstrated Internet and on-line recruitment experience. Experience gained in an executive search firm or small boutique search firm environment in a research or direct souring role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Internet usage.
