Experienced agency recruiter, looking for an opportunity to grow on the corporate side? If so, Sazerac may have a new opportunity for you to explore! As an experienced Recruiter , one will be responsible for (not limited to):
Develops thorough understanding of management, professional and other salaried exempt talent needs, sources and screens candidates, organizes the interview schedule and process, leads the testing strategic initiative and executes pre-employment tests that measure skills important to position success. Coordinates pre-employment screening process , works with hiring manager and HR to develop offer recommendation, facilitates the offer process and ensures new employee authorization process is initiated upon offer acceptance. Participate in hiring activity for union and salaried non-exempt positions and offers direct assistance as time allows.
Participates in the recruiting program initiative to enhance our ability to recruit talented people in an expedient fashion. Assists Recruiting Manager in efforts to establish an extensive database of potential new recruits and identifies talent in selected target companies that meets or exceeds current and future requirements of the company, fits the culture of the company, contributes to company growth and has potential to grow within the organization.
Builds external talent pool and develops ongoing relationships with candidates to quickly fill vacancies as they occur. Researches how company can best utilize social networks and technologies, web-based tools, and other sources to identify and attract talent to the organization.
Develops understanding of company culture and uses this to ensure candidates for hire are a fit with the company culture.
Responsible for regulatory compliance related to applicant screening, interviewing and selection including compliance with all EEOC, OFCCP, and all related state and federal regulations. Becomes knowledgeable of company affirmative action needs and takes steps to ensure a diverse candidate pool.
Successful candidate will have bachelors degree with 3+ years relevant experience. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of all government regulations and experience sourcing talent and developing best practices for attracting talent. Strong desire for previous experience in fast-paced staffing agency , ability to identify active learners, professional certification related to recruiting and/or employment management.
