North East Medical Services (NEMS), a multi-specialty health care organization in San Francisco, is seeking a full-time Recruiting Assistant. This individual will report to the HR Manager and support the Human Resources Department in the day to day operations regarding the recruitment and retention of quality employees. The individual in this role will be responsible for the following tasks:
Handles general recruitment related calls.
Maintaining applicant tracking database on our ADP system.
Assist in the volunteer process, from requisition to hire.
Assisting applicants with questions regarding applications and hiring process
Schedules interviews and meetings.
Handles reference checks and background checks.
Assist in the recruitment process, from requisition to hire. Work with HR Assistant to update job descriptions, job postings, and schedule interviews.
Attending recruitment fairs and events
Other tasks or projects as assigned by HR Manager.
Excellent interpersonal skills
1-2 years of recruiting experience
Medical recruiting background a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self starter, takes initiative
Must be detail oriented
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to work with a diverse group of employees
A great sense of humor
Able to work in a changing environment
Knowledge of computer systems such as MS Word, Excel and Payroll systems
