Position Overview:

Recruiting Associates are enthusiastic professionals who focus on making the right connections between our clients and research professionals, or on bringing the right people to join the GLG Councils. They are responsible for managing the relationships with new Council Members, and serve as liaisons between new Council Members and Research Managers. Recruiting Associates thrive in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking between various projects. They are comfortable communicating on the phone with research professionals from different industries and communicating effectively via the company´s proprietary management software and email.

The Recruiting Associate role is an exciting entry-level position in a fast-growing global firm with opportunities to work closely with business and investment leaders that are driving industry decisions throughout the world.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete fast-paced training program

- Develop working knowledge of relevant industry dynamics

- Learn GLG’s policies and procedures for protecting the integrity of Council Member engagements

- Work collaboratively in partnerships to develop knowledge of client needs so as to connect them with the right research professional

- Learn to:
  • Understand client research workflows and objectives
  • Oversee and manage project process to ensure satisfactory delivery
  • Effectively operate the GLG´s proprietary data management systems
  • Compose professional biographies
  • Effectively communicate how GLG operates for successful recruiting of research professionals to join the GLG Councils
- Develop business acumen, time-management skills, professionalism, and communication skills

For this position, we seek applicants with bachelors or masters degrees from top-tier colleges or universities, or equivalent work experience. The following factors will strengthen an applicant’s candidacy:
  • Superior communication and interaction skills, including demonstrated oral, written and presentation abilities;
  • Demonstrated commitment and attention to detail, ideally in a high-volume, fast-paced environment;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Passion for fast-paced learning, especially in a technology-enabled environment;
  • Passion for sales and conversation, with a successful track record in phone sales or outreach preferred;
  • Ability to communicate and manage relationships across the full professional spectrum including senior colleagues and extremely senior outside professionals;
  • Undergraduate or graduate GPA of 3.3 or better; and
  • Interest in building a business and in all business-building related activities.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish preferred. Reading and comprehension of the Portuguese and/or Spanish language is also preferred.
