Position Details

Supports professional, technical, and non-exempt recruiting including college/university recruiting. Oversees the identification of potential candidates, interviewing, selection, and placement of candidates for employment. Ensures recruiting strategy, methodology, and processes are aligned with the company's talent strategy and desired employee capabilities/skills. Guides the design and placement of employment advertising. Responsible for relations with outside employment agencies, contractors, and recruiters. Ensures compliance with all legal aspects of recruiting function. Responsible for developing strong relationships with community groups, professional networking organizations to proactively identify talent.

1-Assists recruiters by serving as a point of contact for candidates, schedules interviews, coordinates recruiting dates, conducts phone screens, and coordinates the use of new hire selection testing tools when applicable;
2-Provides information about the company and job opportunities to potential applicants;
3-Reviews and classifies incoming resumes;
4-Maintains database of current and potential candidates gathered from recruiting sources and applicant tracking systems; tracks candidates as they move through the recruiting process;
5-Provides external recruiting firms with company and job requisite information to conduct targeted search;
6-Coordinates placement of advertisements in local publications, intranet sites, colleges and other creative avenues to generate applicant flow;
7-Coordinates logistics (facilities, mailings) for job fairs and recruiting days/events;
8-Produces utilization, productivity and other standard reports from recruiting database as requested. Reports may include, but are not limited to, resumes reviewed/screened, cost per hire, telephone screens conducted, interviews conducted, hires and sources of hire;
9-Coordinates all candidate travel, interview/testing scheduling and reimbursement, if required;
10-Ensures appropriate follow-up with candidates who are not selected for hire;
11-Assists in preparation of new hire packages and coordination with corporate and field managers to ensure appropriate on-boarding processes, paperwork and resources are set up on the first day.
12-Coordinates requisition and invoicing process for contractors and generates reports on vendor activity;
13-Conducts drug screens and background investigations for all corporate new hires;
14-Track and manage hiring reports for EEOC, collection of Intellectual Property Agreements, etc.

Typical Training / Experience - HS diploma, GED or relevant work experience; Specialized skill training/certification may be required; 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility required

Dept/Org Scope & Impact - Fully functioning support role having greater responsibility to perform all (or most) most of the standard work within the function; moderate impact to the department

Problem Complexity - Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex; Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor/manager

Autonomy - Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, techniques; Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor/manager

Knowledge - Demonstrates basic knowledge of a technical or specialty area; Readily learns and applies new information/concept in area of practice
