The Recruiting Manager has primary responsibility for consulting with management to identify staffing needs, job specifications, qualifications and skills. He/she is the frontline in attracting quality talent.
Specific responsibilities of a recruiter include the ability to (but are not limited to):
Work with Senior Management on recruiting strategies
Write & publish job postings internally and externally
Recruit qualified candidates via networking, online resources, job fairs, and other creative methods
Review resumes and screen candidates for additional interviews with hiring managers
Conduct initial interviews via phone, Skype, and in-person for candidates across our offices nationwide
Coordinate schedules of incoming candidates with interviewers
Administer and manage recruitment tests during first-round interviews
Validate candidate skills through reference checks
Conduct administrative and recruiting support work as needed Required Competencies/Skills • 3-5 years of experience as a recruiter
Bachelors degree is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
Sense of urgency in completing assigned tasks
Access to a large network of high-quality candidates
Professional, friendly disposition both in-person and over the phone
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
