Responsibilities:
This position requires someone who is a goal and achievement oriented strategic thinker, with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
Works collaboratively with business unit leaders to develop proactive staffing plans, recruiting strategies, and selection processes.​
Makes creative recommendations and implements strategies to effectively use technology, social media, outsourcing, etc.​ to meet staffing needs.​
Continuously improves social media campaigns as well as the company’s associate referral program, Gables 500
Oversees administration of pre-employment assessments, drug testing, and other licenses and certifications necessary for employment; effectively manages relationships with applicable vendors and regulatory agencies.​
Maintains a strong service and communication culture through regular feedback with business unit leaders regarding applicant quality and source effectiveness.
Effectively oversees relationships with search firms and placement agencies to fill vacancies in a timely fashion.​
Effectively manages the employment application process including timely feedback to candidates and appropriate tracking and record keeping.
Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
Assists with screening candidates for corporate managerial positions to ensure they are technically qualified as well as a cultural fit with the organization.
Serves as a liaison between hiring managers and candidates.
Establishes relationships with universities in our key markets and assists in the recruiting and management of the company intern program.
Creates/Manages intern program by monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns and working with hiring managers on intern needs.
Generates, analyzes and communicates recruiting and staffing metrics including time to fill, retention, and applicant volumes and sets appropriate goals and strategies based on the data.​
Establishes and maintains effective systems for processing new employees and creating onboarding procedures that are welcoming and effective.​
Effectively develops and manages recruiting budgets to meet financial objectives.​
Ensure that all legal obligations met throughout pertaining to the recruitment process.

Education
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, management, or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.​
Professional Experience
At least 5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience preferably in the multi-family, retail or hospitality industry.

Skills Required
Working knowledge of applicable labor and employment laws.​
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.​
Excellent organizational and administrative skills.​
Knowledge of candidate sourcing avenues
Ability to effectively communicate at all level of the organization
Demonstrated ability to focus on detail
Ability to complete multiple tasks at the same time
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent customer service skills

Attendance/Travel
The position requires the ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year. Due to staffing limitations, it is extremely critical that individuals be able to work their scheduled hours on a consistent basis. Position requires the ability to travel within the United States. Associate must pay for all travel expenses up front and the company will reimburse. Must have a major credit card for travel purposes.

Licenses/Certification
Certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, CEBS, CCP) strongly preferred. A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required. Position requires individuals to furnish their own vehicle to fulfill all of the job’s functions.
