The Coordinator is responsible for supporting the NBA’s global college relations activities and recruiting processes.

Major Responsibilities
• Serves as liaison for students and college and university representatives; acts as back-up for Manager on certain aspects of college relations programs
• Provides assistance with recruiting processes for the Associate and Intern programs including:
- Job posting and external recruiting event registration with targeted colleges/universities, diversity partners and other professional organizations
- Performing applicant tracking and follow-up for large candidate pool
-Coordinating candidate scheduling and travel, as needed
- Processing of candidate offers and/or rejections
-Orchestrating on-boarding process for new employees, processing pre-employment paperwork
- Conducts interviews and summarizes skills assessments
- Plans and executes logistics for visits (“treks”) from colleges and universities
- Performs research and completes related projects as needed
- Assists NBA regional offices with all processes related to Intern recruiting
Required Skills/Knowledge
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Effective problem solving skills
• Confident and can quickly learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities
• Exceptional focus on customer service and follow-up
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively while maintaining attention to detail
• Adept at working with teams and staff at all levels of an organization
Experience Needed
• A minimum of three years’ experience preferably focused in a Human Resources support or Career Services/University Relations capacity and/or Recruiting firm support capacity
• General knowledge of principles, processes and standards of Human Resources
Educational Background Required
• Bachelor’s degree required; foundation in Human Resources, Communications or related field preferred
