We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to lead a team of 6-8 recruiting screeners in our recruiting call center. The selected individuals will be responsible for managing the performance of their respective team to ensure that applicants have a positive experience in our organization’s recruiting process, while assuring we are meeting the business need for hires. This individual will develop relationships with hiring managers, talent acquisition managers, as well as applicants. Employee success will be measured by their ability to efficiently lead a team that delivers a high-volume of quality applicants to hiring managers. These positions are regular, year round and are conveniently located between Denver and Boulder, at the Vail Resorts Corporate Headquarters in Broomfield, CO.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 6-8 recruiting screeners responsible for taking candidates from the beginning of the process/application, all the way to being hired in one of our epic seasonal jobs on one of our mountain resorts
  • Become well versed and knowledgeable on all resorts, properties, retail outlets, and positions, with additional responsibility of being a Subject Matter Expert in a particular assigned job function
  • Track progress in filling entry level roles and report to Talent Acquisition Leadership teams regularly
  • Responsible for recognizing the highest business needs, and communicating information with the larger team on a daily basis
  • Drive candidate flow to open positions with the highest business need while ensuring good candidate fit
  • Use analytics to ensure your team is meeting the Service Level Agreements agreed upon
  • Communicate regularly with resort and property hiring managers and HR teams
  • Analyze reports in excel to determine state of business, including staffing level, applicant flow, time to fill, and efficiency
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, assess interest and qualifications of applicants
  • Will interact with senior level managers
  • Utilize daily reports to manage and organize a high volume work load

Job Requirements:
  • H.S Diploma or equivalent
  • Computer Proficiencies:
    • Microsoft Office: Outlook (including mail, folders, rules, and calendar), Word, Excel (including the ability to sort, filter, analyze, and use formulas)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English via email and by phone
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Desire to spend majority of time on computer and phone
  • Ability to manage and organize a high volume work load
  • Comfortable in an ever changing environment with competing priorities
  • Possess professional and courteous behavior with team mates, hiring managers and applicants over the phone and via email

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Team supervisory experience
  • Previous recruiting or human resources experience
  • Previous call center experience
  • Computer Proficiencies
    • Experience using GoogleDocs
    • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Experience using a Human Resource Management System
    • Ability to give tech support and troubleshooting
    • Analytical skills strongly preferred
  • Telephone experience (including transferring calls, voicemails)
  • Customer service skills
  • Familiarity with our properties and lines of business
  • Experience working previously in Vail Resorts Operations a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience managing business relationships using phone and email
  • Ability to provide light technical support and troubleshooting if applicants to applicants

Standard work week is Monday-Friday, 8-5, evenings and weekends may be necessary depending on business needs.
